A turning point in my life was in 1995 when I suffered a miscarriage in the late stages of pregnancy.
This brought about an opportunity for me to experience great pain and loss. Since then no loss has
been as strong. Priorities in my life are different. The friends that helped me most
were those who knew pain and loss rather than the sympathising, well meaning, kind people who were doing their best.
Friends enrolled me on
a Reiki level one weekend so I would have the tools to heal myself. Six months later I was back studying
level two. Whilst I have no intention of practising Reiki it was responsible for making me aware of intuition
that had always been with me.
I commenced training in 2005 with the City and Guilds reflexology course, which gave me an introduction to
meridian energy. Reflexology is a holistic therapy, which works on the feet, hands or ears to help the whole person, not just the
prevailing symptoms. Reflexology works by the application of pressure to specific points of the body to promote the body’s own
healing process.
In 2006, I found myself on the
City and Guilds course for Swedish Massage. This is another holistic therapy, mainly used for the release of stress.
There are many benefits to massage. The main one being the improved circulation as this leads to
an improvement for the organs and well being of the client.
A Health Kinesology Therapist introduced
me to EFT in 2006 and we tried so very hard but is just wasn’t powerful for us. Then in 2008 we had
the opportunity to train as practitioners with an EFT Master, Ann Ross. Four months later I was doing level
III, the advanced level. This was the second turning point in my life. It is so rewarding
to help others.
